Hangouts at The Cathay!
Sponsored Advertorial
People! I’m here today to talk about The Cathay!
I bet the first thing you think about would be the Cineplex.
But when I headed down last week, I found out some pretty cool stores, and I think The Cathay is a great place to chill-lax!
I bet you guys know about this shopping mall located at 2 Handy road, near Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.
Went to The Cathay last week with Priscilla.
Chilled at Starbucks!
Went to walk around The Cathay.
Found this shop selling lots of unique stuff. Me likey!
Tic-Tac-Toe with unique birdy designs!
Need to wrap a gift for a friend?
Or get a greeting card with unique designs?
Lots of pretty things that you don’t find daily.
Spoke to the shopkeeper behind the counter, and found out that the items are imported from the states and some closer countries like Korea.
If you can’t find the shop (because there is no signboard)
There is a prominent shop beside, providing nail services, design consultancy and designer products.
It’s called forest n trees!
Just walked around but we didn’t get to see much because it was getting late!

Played Xbox but didn’t have photos!
Here’s a picture of the couch!
It’s a real nice place to chill, and hang out with your best buds and play a game of soccer or two!
Alternatively if you’re a video game addict:
It’s also a LAN gaming paradise.
I will always shout and scream to my friends while playing LAN games because they are so engaging!
Walked around and came across this shop selling male clothing and accessories!
It’s called VOL.TA marque.
Here’s a panoramic view of the shop!
Next up! TOTALLY HOT STUFF!
Stuffs in there are real unique!
Found a retro telephone set, think it is really old!
Real retro Polaroids!
This runaway clock that’s worth mentioning. I need one of this!

Came to The Cathay yet again, with Jovin!
Went to Nihon Mura for dinner!
Dining at Nihon Mura is a different experience altogether!
Bring the basket to the counter, choose the ice-cream sticks and put them into the basket.
Place the basket at the cashier, and wait for your food to arrive at your table!
Glorious food!
There’s also a sushi belt where you can get tasty sushi!
Thanks to Nihon Mura @ The Cathay, my dinner date with Jovin was a huge success!
I realised that many of the shops at The Cathay doesn’t have signboards! I was wondering if that’s the current trend, shops without signboards!
Anyway, we passed by this other shop, also sells men fashion clothing.
Real fashionable shoes at discounted price!
LOVE this messenger bag. Quite costly though. Nice bags comes with a hefty price tag!
The Cathay’s a real nice place to hang out!
It’s more than just a place you would go for movies.

The last shop you introduced was Beluga right? it’s my brother’s shop, they’ve got all their goods from overseas and you certainly can’t find them in Singapore, but i do agree with you that their things there are quite costly, haha. Hope you enjoy your trip to The Cathay though. Thanks for the introduction of some other shops too!^^
Yeah that’s right! They have some real cool stuff there! Haha, any special discount card for me? HAHA.
