Love my days off from work.
I seriously love days when I don’t have to worry about waking up early and rushing like mad to work. But somehow, waking up early for work almost everyday has caused my body clock to be tuned to wake early automatically, everyday!
Today I went for some meeting in the afternoon, and then off to Raffles City for a HPB bloggers meeting. Somehow I think its really long since the last time I met up with bloggers for work related meetings.
This is with Ben while waiting for his friend!
Went home after numerous failed attempts to contact Ryan and co. I’m glad I did too!
Reached home and saw this pretty ESPRIT box on my table! It’s by mommy! So sweet of her. It’s a watch! I’ve been ‘watch-less’ for years now, since the last time I lost my beloved Adidas watch. EH! Adidas was like the IN thing during my secondary school days!
Love the design! Don’t think it’s a very expensive watch but it’s the thought that counts yea? Thanks mommy!
I’ll have work tomorrow, the day after, and the day after the day after. AHHHHH. I need a break. Gonna plan an outing with the TMS people soon! I’m in high spirits!
By the way, I’ve just created my formspring account, because of all the hype over it at twitter. My formspring account is: http://www.formspring.me/Shawnified ask me questions there!
Meanwhile I shall continue my online shopping. Shh.
Little Arts School for the under privileged children.
make.believe is Sony’s latest brand mantra, which also means turning dreams into reality. How so?
It hasn’t been all talk and no action.
30 young under privileged children aged 7 – 8 years old have been selected to attend this art program.
They would have to each create an art piece based on the theme of “The world I’d like to see when I grow up”, under careful supervision of Artist mentor Donna Ong who is a renowned installation artist.
These kids are given the opportunity of art creation, and they are supplied materials that they might not be able to afford based on their families’ financial status.
Holly Jean and I went down to Little Arts School, and watched as these children have a shot at expressing their creativity.
Some of the kids were just on a permanent glucose high,
while others need careful supervision from the mentors. This little girl here is so shy!
Here’s the class in progress!

This young boy below called Hafiz wanted to be a policeman in the future, and said that it is his dream. He also has a short-term goal, which is to participate in the school’s Sports Day event when he is in Primary 4. Little kid with big dreams!

After the workshop, had dinner with Holly Jean @ Mad Jack.
