Playing with ingredients!
Felt bored after booking out from camp, so I went to the supermarket with the intention to buy a chicken breast and grill it. That was booooring! So, after picking up a piece of chicken breast, I went around the supermarket looking for ingredients to accompany the chicken.
Went home and whipped up the dish I had in mind.
Result: Button Mushroom Chicken! (Just thought of name of the dish on the spot after looking at it because of the two main ingredients: Chicken and Button Mushrooms)
And before long…
I <3 to cook! Shall try again sometime soon.

This is me in the past.
Honestly, I’ve never liked my teeth.
Now, 2 years later from the date that photo was taken, I’m more confident of my teeth.
It’s been 1 year and 2 months since I installed braces at Neuglow Dental, and I’m more than satisfied with the results!

I know I know. My teeth is getting yellow and stained! I’m gonna do some whitening after removing the braces. It is really time consuming to take good care of your teeth while having braces. Also, I changed my braces from ceramic to metal braces because ceramic braces are too fragile and I don’t think they are suitable for me.
My projected date of removal of the braces is August, and I can’t wait! ![]()
My teeth is getting straighter, although there are still certain imperfections. Dr Poon is a perfectionist and she is so meticulous that she can point out small details of my teeth that I haven’t noticed all my life.
I must admit, having braces is a pain in the ass. However, just bear with it, and perfect looking teeth will be coming your way!
I wanna thank Dr. Poon sincerely for her patience and care throughout the length of my braces course.
Will do another update soon!

Self Portraiture at Cheezz Studio
I had been scouring the net for a good studio to get some pictures for my new and upcoming blog revamp. (shhh.. it’s not ready yet!)
Just in the nick of time, Dee from Cheezz Studio emailed me and invited me down to her studio over at Parklane Shopping Mall. Initially, I was kinda skeptical, because in the email, it says that there is no photographer, and you will take your own pictures by clicking on the remote. Although using a remote to control the camera’s shutter is nothing new to me, but using this concept in a studio is totally new. I have never thought of this. I wasn’t quite sure of what to expect, but no harm trying, because I need the photos too.
Big thank you to Cheezz Studio to lend me the studio and their amazing equipment for 2 hours.
Some shots taken using the remote:
There are lots of props to choose from, just enough for you to have ENDLESS fun. haha.
In a group,
or solo!
It’s really fun! Check out this studio if you have the time. Head over to www.cheezzstudio.com.sg to see more details! ![]()
On a side note, stay tuned for my blog revamp, coming in a month’s time!

When will the COE prices dip?
Whether you are a seasoned driver, a new driver on the road, or just any regular Singaporean, you should have heard about the ever increasing Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices.
Singapore is a small country, which means little road space. Limited road space means a limited quota of the number of cars on the road. A vehicle’s COE will have to be renewed after 10 years, or the owner can choose to deregister it. So if you’ve noticed, this creates a cycle.
Here are the results for February 2009 in comparison to March 2012.
To own a regular car less than 1600cc now, the COE premium you have to pay is S$56,501. This is really high, and we haven’t even considered the cost of the car yet.
The reason of the huge spike in prices in simple: In 2005, the prices of COE was really low, and there was a large amount of cars registered at that time. However, since every vehicle’s COE will expire after 10 years, the time will come when this huge batch of vehicles have to go to the scrapyard. This means that come 2015, there will be more COEs released for bidding, and the prices of COE will drop significantly.
Parf Rebate
When you deregister your vehicle, you get a PARF (Preferential Additional Referential Fee) rebate. More details here. The earlier you deregister your vehicle, the higher the PARF rebate. Most owners deregister their vehicles in their 8th or 9th year.
New drivers looking to get a car may take a look at used cars, so that there’s no need to jump onto the COE bandwagon. However, I personally feel it is best to speculate as COE prices begin to dip in late 2014.
