Amazon Kindle 3 3G!
Got a nice Diane Von Furtensburg case along with it, but realised the colour on the inside is pink.
But it’s still cool, although feminine.
Bought the novel: Water for Elephants straight away! Almost halfway done through the novel, and using the Kindle to read it is like reading a printed book!
The screen is amazing. Doesn’t hurt your eyes after prolonged usage, like the iPad, iPhone, or other mobile devices.
Visited Blue Mountain Cafe yet again while waiting for my clique of friends to come, and this time I tried the Tiramisu Latte!
Then… This!
Served on a huge plate. This dessert satisfied my sweet tooth cravings!
Found out that I can use Amazon’s 3G network, Whispernet, to surf the web on my Kindle! Although the browsing is not fantastic, it works!
Maybe I shall write a guide on using the Kindle 3 in Singapore soon!
Met up with Character Design elective mates afterwards. It’s been like 2 years since we last met?

Surprised me with it! She says she owes me a favour. Kinda blamed her for wasting money on this gadget, but secretly in my heart I couldn’t be happier. HAHAHA.

Water for Elephants
Asked Mireen out for a movie, Water For Elephants.
It’s an entertaining show, and I’m going to go get the novel when my Kindle finally comes.
Dined at Sushi Tei and Blue Mountain Cafe.
The food at Blue Mountain Cafe greatly surpassed my expectations.
Always thought cafe food nice to look, not nice to eat.
But I was wrong, I had the Rosemary Chicken, and it was great! The sauce was sweet to taste. Came with mashed potatoes too.

NeuGlow Dental
Since my primary school days, I’ve always hated my teeth. I have what is commonly known as “Dracula teeth”.
Some people say that it’s cute, some say my teeth is just untidy.
Here’s how I looked like last year. Note the ugly sharp tooth jutting out from the top! 
Here’s another one, note the top right, and the gap on the left.
I’ve even tried smiling without my teeth when taking a picture!
Looks okay I guess, but I can’t do that forever, I want to have the perfect smile. I NEED TO! (No particular reason, just one of my personal goals.)
And so when Nuffnang introduced NeuGlow Dental to me, I immediately agreed to give it a shot, put in the effort to straighten my teeth and perfect my smile. 
First, let me introduce you to my orthodontist!
Here’s Dr Poon Kee Hwang.
I can assure you, I’ve never felt that I was in better hands before.
She’s young, friendly, gentle, and very very cautious when handling patients.
Dr Poon refuse to tell me her age, but she says that she’s below 40. I was so surprised, because she barely looks 30 to me!
Dr Poon has also been in orthodontistry for almost 10 years!
She will always warn me ahead of the discomfort that is going to happen next, and always apologise to me even though its not her fault!
One more thing, she’s pretty!
At the moment, she is NeuGlow’s only orthodontist.
The clinic is very well decorated, and, its new!
The clinic displays Dr Poon’s qualifications at the waiting area.
However, qualifications is not the only thing you should look out for when finding an orthodontist.
In most cases, you will be seeing your orthodontist for the next two years in your life! That’s why I think its vital to choose properly!
So far, I’ve never regretted having Dr Poon as my orthodontist. I’ve had a friend who was her patient and had completed his braces. Now he couldn’t be happier with his straight teeth!
Moving on, let me show you my teeth!
If the pictures at the start of this post didn’t convince you on how crooked my teeth were, the following pictures will convince you.

Dr Poon told me that I have a dental condition called overbite, which basically means that my upper teeth noticeably cover the lower teeth.
An overbite has the potential to be a serious health and physical problem.
Dr Poon then told me that I can correct this during my braces course, by using the braces to pull my upper teeth back, correcting my bite.
Many of you should know, braces would often come with extraction of teeth to create space for the other teeth.
Dr Poon advised me that I had to extract 2 teeth.
I immediately had jitters.
So that basically sums up my first session with her.
After that, I visited her twice, to extract two of my teeth, one tooth per visit.
There was little or no pain at all, all I felt was numbness in my mouth, because of the anaesthesia. I was quite surprised. There was only some tugging, and before you know it, the tooth came out!
And… I decided to keep my extracted teeth. (didn’t give it to the tooth fairy)
Dr Poon told me to soak the teeth in bleach, and after 4 hours of bleaching:
On my fourth visit with her, I got my braces installed!
I chose ceramic braces because I want my braces to look as invisible as possible. I feel that coloured braces will cause me to look younger.
Here’s it is!
I experienced discomfort, and had liquid diet for almost a week, then got used to it and began eating normal foods again.
It’s been over 2 months since I installed my braces, no regrets! Plus, Dr Poon is really dedicated to her job.
There was one time, I couldn’t visit Dr Poon on weekdays because I am currently serving my NS, she offered to open up the clinic on her off day, Sunday, just to attend to me! So good right!
I recommend all of you to consult Dr Poon if you have problems with your teeth.

Went to town with mum, got a new Lenovo notebook, and had some dim sum!
All time craving, XLB (Xiao Long Bao)!
But I think the standards at Din Tai Fung kinda dropped? Because the XLBs doesn’t taste as good as they do in the past!
& had mango pudding! <3

Tried out the new wide angle lens on my NEX-5. Works well!
Went to Wendy’s 21st in the evening! Very well planned party, definitely the works of someone who works in an events company. 
Had a great time!
Damn pretty lah her birthday cake!
If I am not wrong, the cake is from Cake Avenue.
Got DJ spinning and got free flow drinks at a bar. Damn cool. Makes me wonder what shall I do for my own 21st party in December.
