LG Flatron W2486L Monitor
Hi everyone! This is Lionel, Shawn’s younger brother, writing about this LG monitor given to us for a review.
So here’s the LG Flatron W2486L monitor!
Here’s the specification for this monitor:
Widescreen (16:9)
2ms Well, a big monitor is not just for you to put it at home and show off to other people! Having such big screen really enables you to multitask and do things more comfortable!
If your monthly bills always goes KAAA-BOOOM! Fear not! Because this monitor has the energy saving technology which will help you save a lot of energy more than what you expect!
If you always have multi MSN conversation, I think this monitor will best fit you! It’s kind of annoying when there’s so many people talking to you all at the same time and you will have to entertain them all at one goal. It’s even more annoying when you have to alt + tab to select your conversation and sometimes you might end up with the wrong conversation.
So, this 24″ Monitor can be your lifesaver and save all those troubles.
With this wide screen, kiss goodbye to all those troubles!
All four conversation can be fit nicely to this screen AND not only that, the conversation windows is also not all cramp up together! You can chat with your friends easily and comfortably!
Next, if you’re like me, a crazy fan of those idol dramas, you can watch whole day while surfing your net or chatting with your friends!![]()
Here’s a picture of me watching a Taiwanese drama called ‘autumn’s concerto’ while keeping myself update regularly through facebook! *Superb Convenient!*
That way, you will be able to watch your dramas while doing some other things!
Having this 24″ monitor is really a time saver too!
IF you’re also an anime freak like me, you can watch High definition episode with this ‘Full HD’ technology included in this monitor!
Pictures of watching an anime called ‘Naruto Shippuuden’ with HD quality!
Imagine that you’re watching an anime without HD monitor. All you’ll be seeing is boxes of blurry pixel which will only annoy you.
If you’re a movie freak like me too, this monitor is a must-buy monitor!
Pictures of a Blu-Ray movie called ‘Transformers 2′
Just look at the graphics! It’s just OMG!
With the HD technology and the recent LED backlit LCD technology, it provides a more superior technology that provides clearer, crisper and a more colour accurate image!
If you’re an obsessed gamer, who plays games that requires high graphics, I STRONGLY recommend this monitor!
Pictures of me playing ‘Bioshock2′.
Just look at the HD effects! It just made gaming so real!
With it’s combined technology of LED backlit, full HD 1080p, a 1920 x 1080 HD resolution, widescreen, less than 4.9ms respond time, 16.7 million colors and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, it just made your gaming experience like
NEVER BEFORE!
If you’re still in dilemma about which monitor to buy, think no more! Whether you’re a gamer, movie freak or a crazy multi tasker, this is the right choice for you!
Trip to Korea sponsored by LG. Day 3.
Went to Gyeongbokgung Palace
I’m a fatso.
LUNCH.
BIBIMBAP.
One of the tastiest messy meals I’ve ever had.
Itaewon, a fashion shopping district. Some items are greatly overpriced though.
Donuts with Andy at DUNKIN’ DONUTS.
Here we part with all the power bloggers, and here’s a quick one with Arnold.
Fantastic meal at outback steakhouse.
Our tummies were literally FILLED. Huge servings and delicious at the same time.
Took a walk near our hotel.
This is how they do cream puffs.
Free advertisement for changbawi, or what not! HA.
Can’t help but to savor food at this stall.
Real spicy! No idea what this is.
Turned and spotted some Japanese girls looking at us, and we offered them to share with us.
In return for a photo. HA.
and Beatrice’s
End of day 3!
Trip to Korea sponsored by LG. Day 2.
Breakfast first!
YUM YUM CORNFLAKES!
After a hearty buffet breakfast, headed to the LG R&D Campus.
It’s a place where latest LG technology resides.
My ‘spiritual mind’ as not in ‘optimum condition’ to be in a meeting after the wild night the day before, but, the presentation was fab, and we got to know more about LG.
These small monitors slide up magically from the table for ease of sight. Koreans and their technology!
Went to the lawn beside the LG building and the place was beautiful!
It’s like the scene in those Korean Dramas!
Snow, snow and snow!
YEAH KOREA!
Went to catch COOKIN’ NANTA in the evening.
The show was ‘fantabulous’!! Comedic yet entertaining. The actors were talented in all sorts of ways! However the show was a bit too lengthy for me!
The ushers were not very polite too. (People who follow me on twitter should know)
Dinner time!
Easily the best BBQ Beef I’ve EVER had.
Korean BBQ Beef is a MUST-TRY!!
I ate and ate and ate. I think people around me are baffled at the amount of beef I took.
During the dinner, we were presented with a video of our itenary the day before. Credits to the people who put together and edited the video, kudos to them.
Everyone was given a LG photo frame. Fantastic. It’s in my living room now, together with the 32 inch LG LCD TV. LG is all around me!
Went to this expensive mall! Things here are not cheap! Think it’s called Dong Dae Mun! Silly me spent quite a bomb here!
And after which, we went to roadside stores and makan!
FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD.
Day 3 will be soon!
Trip to Korea sponsored by LG. Day 1 (Arrival, Familiarisation)
I still remember myself saying:
“I’m going to Korea tomorrow! No, actually, in a few hours. Yesh!”
Which is also a quote from Dawn Yang.
But hey! It’s already a week after the trip! And here’s me blogging!
Travel mates include Andy, Beatrice and Wayne from LG!
Touched down in Korea! Stepping on Korea grounds! The home of Girl’s Generation and boybands such as Super Junior and DBSK! I can hear you scream, fangirls!
Our guide who painstakingly waited for us in the airport for hours! We arrived in the early morning 5AM, FYI! The plane flight was really tiring and we sat economy class. No space to sleep properly!
Reached the hotel, checked in, got my name tag.
Once we settled down, we didn’t waste anytime, didn’t even sleep a wink, and rushed out to meet at the lobby.
Guess where we went? SHOPPING!
More of familiarization shopping, have to do research first ma!
Returned to the hotel and captured this beautifully over-exposed shot with Beatrice in it! If only the damn pillar wasn’t there!
Winter wear!
Don’t I look like a rice dumpling in this photo?
Went to try Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup. Not too bad!
First meal. The meat was very soft! Almost like Jelly. But there was too much bones inside? The porridge was great too.
Back on the bus and we were still excited about what we were wearing, especially me. I had 4 layers on, you can see 3 here, and one more innerwear! Try wearing these in Singapore, you will die of a heatstroke.
Went back to the hotel and into the conference room. We didn’t sleep a wink and we still had to play this ‘Amazing Race’ kinda thing to know more about Korea! Pretty well organised trip I would say.
We were divided into 4 groups, (each Singaporean in one). Then each team leader get to choose one roll, in which contains clues to which places we had to go. We had to go to the place, snap a photo with the LG GW620, and submit to them via email on the LG GW620.
My team, I look like a shortie!
Team cheer!
Walking the streets of Seoul to find places as instructed.
At the subway. Korean subway were real messy, we weren’t familiar, so we spent sometime searching for the correct line to take. There were 9 lines if I’m not wrong!
Using the LG GW620 to find the places! We used Google Maps! I don’t know if we cheated or not.
Chilling out at Starbucks, with the LG GW620!
Approached and took a photo with a Korean couple! Sweet and loving aye!
Not long after, we received the best mission ever, which was to have fun at Karaoke!
I sang something too, I forgot what
The room was luxurious, totally different from the K-Box you get in Singapore!
With my team, doing the Korean trademark pose!
Posey posey!
At the Welcome dinner in the evening we received our prizes, our team WON! In the box was a traditional Korean Fan. Cool.

8-Course meal! They were real kind to replace anything containing prawn or shrimp for me, since I am allergic to them. Phew.
The exterior of the restaurant!
Group photo outside the restaurant! It’s some special restaurant but I can’t remember the details!
After that we went to a nightclub! Real experience! Sadly it was a Friday, I don’t know where the Korean clubbers were, the whole place was deserted, while the music was blasting like mad crazy! We were escorted to a VIP room, real classy!
All you can drink Hoegaarden! Why isn’t there fruit juices?
This is how empty the dance floor was.
No Korean hotties!
But I took a photo with 1 Korean! Don’t be fooled by her demure face, she’s actually working in some Vodka company, high office ranking if I’m not wrong!
After which we went back early by cab, and then went to a Donut store with Andy and Arnold.
Check out Day 2 SOON!
